Why is Mediation Important?
Disputes, disagreements and conflicts are a part of life. They arise naturally as a result of our free will and our differing perspectives.
Unfortunately, we live in a society that tends to encourage and promote the avoidance of confrontation.
As a result, disagreements often escalate to full-blown feuds or conflicts and can lead to extended pain, suffering and a high cost (financial or otherwise) to all involved parties.
It’s natural and easy to become frustrated when trying to resolve conflicts, due to being emotionally tied to the outcome.
The concept of mediation arises when a neutral third party intervenes and participates in the confrontation and conflict resolution process.
The introduction of mediation can have a profound positive impact on the speed and effectiveness of resolution.

What is Private Mediation?

Private mediation is a consulting and advisory service delivered by a neutral and independent third party.
Unlike court judgments or arbitration, mediation is not binding upon the parties.
Instead, all parties are enjoined under the principles of “best effort” and “good faith negotiations.”
Private mediators don’t carry licensed or state-sanctioned titles; instead, they are well-studied in the principles of natural law, objective morality, equity jurisprudence, and private contract law.
A private mediator approaches each interaction with a focus on creating consensus or the “win-win” outcome for all parties involved.
They compel performance mainly through persuasion and influence, by drawing a clear picture of the contract between an agreement and reverting to the courts of law for resolution.
What Types of Disputes can be Resolved?
Nearly any disagreement that arises between reasonable men and women can be properly resolved through private mediation.
To further illustrate the point, here are a few examples:

Disputes or disagreements over child custody and child support

Family disputes over inheritance or ownership of property

Feuds and disagreements between spouses, business parters or family members
